    At the close of our second day on Oahu, we found ourselves back on Mokuleia Beach, once again. No tourists, just us and the sunset.

  6. Maya Beach, Belize

    Maya Beach is located in the center of the Placencia Peninsula in Belize. The Peninsula is sixteen miles long, with the Caribbean Sea on one side, and a lagoon on the other.

    The view through our hotel window in Brighton Beach showcases some typical English "Georgian Terrace" architecture. This style emerged as a result of a boom in urban growth settlement during the 18th century and arose from the need to build housing into more compact building structures.

    The sunset reminds me of a grape-fruit color ruby. But it also reminded me of the restaurant shown here (on the pier left near the edge) which is Ruby's Restaurant.

    This was taken in Kum Beach, Çeşme. Reportedly, this place has been recently purchased by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich.

  10. Ko Phangan

    There are few things as blissful as a hammock tied to the porch of a $5/night bungalow, a slight breeze rustling through palm fronds and your eyes resting on an ocean view.

    This photograph was taken from my bungalow porch on the Thai island of Ko Phangan. The travelers in the water were from Israel, and for more than two hours they talked while sitting in the shallows.
