This was taken in the Sabanci Museum in Emirgan, Istanbul. I was there for the Rodin exhibition in Summer 2006.
Traditionally dressed Ottoman come to tourists motioning them to take a photo. Once taken, they offer a refreshing cup of visne juice, and ask for money.
The wide corridors of the Grand Bazaar are lined with jewelry stores, leather stores, and others that invite tourists to shop till they drop.
Rockers dance to the music of a popular Turkish rock-band in the early-afternoon at the yearly Barisarock free festival in Istanbul (Rock for Peace).
