   The Wonder Bar closed its doors for the last time in September 2006. As new construction takes place in the area, it stands as a reminder of the past.

   A tribute to Tillie, that once adorned the now torn down Palace Amusement is on the marquee of the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The bar is now closed.

   Monmouth Park Racetrack is home to the $1 Million Haskell Invitational, for thoroughbred horse racing. Known as the Resort of Racing, last year (2007) Monmouth Park was the host to the Breeders' Cup.

    Fast Times

    May 9, 2008 marks the start of the thoroughbred racing season at Monmouth Park Racetrack. For those that still have the itch for playing the ponies, simulcasting is available year round...
