    I wasn't sure whether to upload this but I think it's important to remember what happened when Vesuvius erupted. It is shocking to see some of the bodies preserved here and imagine the terrible pain that they suffered.

    I found the doors and windows in Pompeii fascinating - a lot of organic matter survived the eruption. There is more in Herculaneum but this doorway in Pompeii was the most complete
