    Fans heading toward the Metrodome, after exiting the lightrail train, brave this late March snowstorm that dumped several inches of snow on the city to see the Minnesota Twins open the new season against the Los Angeles Angels. March 31, 2008.

    Founded in 1963, the Guthrie Theater is one of the premier centers for the performing arts in the United States. In 2006, the theater moved to its new Jean Nouvel designed facility, located directly on the Mississippi river.
