    A short hike along the creek below a small walk-in campground called Saw-Mill near the north-eastern border of Yosemite National Park.

    This is a view of Sandy Hook as seen from the Highlands. On the horizon a small white spot can be seen which is the Sandy Hook Lighthouse.

  7. Grand Canyon star trails

    This was a 25 minute exposure taken from the rim of the Grand Canyon well after dark. The full moon was rising behind me and provides all the illumination for this photo.

    Guests at the park are seen sail surfing at the Sandy Hook Unit of Gateway National Recreation Area on the bay side. Atlantic Highlands and Highlands, New Jersey, can be seen on the horizon as weather starts to move into the area.
