While in New York, the first day was miserable with rain and just wet weather. But I stuck it out and walked down Chelsea Piers and just walked and walked and this wheel intrigued me.
A wonderful chocolate shop and cafe located in the town of Sainte-Petronille on ile d'Orleans.
We stumbled across this hidden beach behind a church on Ile d'Orleans on the St. Lawrence River where I surprisingly collected seashells.
Typical colonial architecture on Ile d'Orleans, this was one of the oldest buildings on the island, built in 1734.
Each town had its own church and adjacent cemetery. This one, in the town of Saint-Jean, was right on the beach.
The island is filled with little roadside cafes and stands like this one in Sainte-Famille, selling jams, pie, ice cream, produce, and maple syrup.
Downtwon Chicago is an amazing array of water, steel and glass... beautiful buildings set in a functional pleasing manner for the everyday pedestrian.
