   road to Dalhousie Springs

   The only way to get to the Dalhousie Springs is by 4WD. It's situated in the middle of the Simpson Desert.
   The springs are just incredible.

   Dalhousie Springs wildlife

   In the middle of the Simpson Desert lays an oasis called Dalhousie Springs.
   
   Because of the presence of the springs it is a very green place and there is a fair bit of wildlife. Next to lots of birds and an amazing amount of irritating flies there are two full blood dingo's wandering around.

   Green Lynx Spider

   AKA: Peucetia Viridans
   
   These spiders live on plants, espeically the Prickly Pear Cactus. They grow up to 3/4" in length, are light green in color, and have spiny legs.....
