    A tooth pick holder I got in Malaysia for the 'Shelf of Tat' - a favourite because of the actual tooth pick that came with it, and the special deal I got from the vendor: "2 ringit for one, 4 ringit for two" - now there's a bargain I found hard to resist.

  5. Snowglobe from Wales

    Where's the snow, you ask? This little guy scored uber points on the 'Shelf of Tat' by being purchased broken - originally a snowglobe, now a Welsh sheep on a dodgy plinth.

    The 'Shelf of Tat' - half of a collection of the most random souvenirs from the holidays of the people in my team at work. Here we have:

    I found this beautiful souvenir Vietnamese Porcelain at the Handicapped Handicrafts in Vietnam. So nice to bring home to loved ones at the same time helping a noble cause.

  10. Pahiyas Ref magnets

    Souvenir magnets of the Pahiyas Festival. Pahiyas is the celebration of the Feastday of Saint Isidro de Labrador in Lucban Quezon, Philippines which is celebrated wvery 15th day of May.

    What makes thie feast day extra special is that local dress up their houses with their produce such as vegetables, grains of rice, fruits etc as an act of thanksgiving to their Patron saint for a bouniful harvest.
