   Author Marie Wilson has just quaffed a perfect chocolate martini in the Hazelton Hotel in the upscale Yorkville district of midtown Toronto. The hotel bar is stylish, spacious and dripping with celebrities.

   This bar caters to the niche groups ranging from punk to hipster. The mural on the wall welcomes you upon entering.

   On the second level of the bar, Frou Frou, near st Laurent and St Catherine you might find an informal skate session at one in the morning.

   The Wonder Bar closed its doors for the last time in September 2006. As new construction takes place in the area, it stands as a reminder of the past.

   A tribute to Tillie, that once adorned the now torn down Palace Amusement is on the marquee of the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The bar is now closed.

   Madame Marie sits on the Boardwalk in Asbury Park, New Jersey. It's neighbor used to house a Howard Johnson's that was renovated and reopened as the saltwater cafe.
