    Here in Porto Belo you can jump into a typical fishermen boat that will take for a tour around Porto Belo Island and to many white sand beaches scattered around the peninsula.

    The boats themselves are visually appealing - a lot of colors and character. They were used in the past to hunt whales (baleias) hence the name "baleeiras".
