    Mt. Abraham is a great spot for a day hike located in the Central Green Mountains.

    Munnar has a beauty that is unique and original like no other in that it has been cultivated for the growth of tea leaves, of which is mostly owned by Tata Tea Company (the producers of the popular Tetley Brand.) The rich hues of green are about as refreshing as the crisp and cool mountain air, a definite break from the cruel South-Indian heat. Known as the 'Switzerland of India' for its natural habitat and classic architecture.

We stayed in the boutique location in June 2008 and were drawn in by the Polynesian modern decor and the giant red fluorescent sign hovering over Sutter Street like a beacon.

    The lobby is classic--ultra comfy couches, Arco lights for reading, and free wine tasting at 5pm every day.

    This relatively small, yet charming, park is known to everyone as Green Key Beach. The county renamed it a few years ago.

    Vrelo Bosne is a spring and beautifully green park at the source of the River Bosna, twelve kilometers southwest of Sarajevo in the suburb of Ilidža. If you don't have a car, it's best reached by taxi and can be combined with a visit to the War Tunnel Museum.

  9. King and Queen Seat

    Rocks State Park is located in Jarrettsville, MD and there are great natural, dense wooded hiking trails, a wonderful waterfall, and a 190-foot rock outcrop called The King and Queen Seat. The movie 'Tuck Everlasting' was filmed in this park and features all of the aforementioned attributes to the area.

    The waterfall (Kilgore Falls) in the Falling Branch section of the park is Maryland's second highest vertical drop waterfall.
