Theresienstadt concentration camp (often referred to as Terezín) was a Nazi concentration camp during World War II. It was established by the Gestapo in the fortress and garrison city of Terezín, located in what is now the Czech Republic.
the greek jews were almost entirely wiped out during the holocaust, so the objects, clothing, and photographs in this museum represent a culture that has been all but lost to world outside the museum walls. these sephardic jews have a culture very heavily influenced by the ottomans.
