Named Casa Casuarina, in honor of Somerset Maugham whose story collection has been called "The Casuarina Tree," the mansion is situated in the heart of Miami's Art Deco district.
The Morris-Jumel Mansion is Manhattan's oldest home and only remaining Colonial residence. It was built in 1765 by British Colonel Roger Morris.
