   Chambers Bay Golf Course

   Robert Trent Jones II has utilized the awe-inspiring location on Puget Sound to create a stunning links-style golf course at Chambers Bay. A publicly-owned facility, the design of this walking-only course allows non-golfers a hiking trail through a stunning coastal setting, among windswept dunes and native fescue grasses.

   Craggy Gardens

   Craggy Gardens is one of the most beautiful stops along the Blue Ridge Parkway. In summer, rhododendrons and other wildflowers cover the land with vivid color--one of the brightest displays along the parkway.

   Cerro Gordo

   Often times referred to as the Bodie of southern California, Cerro Gordo was an incredibly wealthy mining town that helped fund the creation of the Los Angeles shipping trade. Now it is a bit difficult to get to on a pretty narrow dirt road that almost certainly requires 4 wheel drive to reach.

   Harissa, Lebanon

   Harissa (Arabic حريصا) is an important Lebanese pilgrimage site high above Jounieh, located at 650 meters altitude from the coast and 20 km distance from Beirut the capital city; the site is accessible either by a steep winding road or a nine-minute journey by a gondola lift, known as the "Téléférique". It attracts both pilgrims and tourists who want to enjoy views of Jounieh.
   
   The main site is a huge 15-ton bronze (and painted white) statue of Virgin Mary, known as Our Lady of Lebanon or Notre Dame du Liban/Harissa or Our Virgin of Lebanon, with her arms outstretched.

   Echo Lakes, California, is located off Highway 50 between Placerville and South Lake Tahoe. There are two small alpine lakes in the High Sierra Nevada Mountains at about the 7,000 feet above sea level.
