Divine Park is in the center of the bucolic Jersey Shore of Spring Lake. It's spring fed lake is home to diverse waterfowl and is three blocks from the Atlantic Ocean.
TopSail State Park is a great get away from crowded beaches on the panhandle. Several miles of pure white sand and untouched dunes are perfect for beach goers.

The Buffalo National River flows free over swift running rapids and quiet pools for its 135-mile length. One of the few remaining rivers in the lower 48 states without dams, the Buffalo cuts its way through massive limestone bluffs traveling eastward through the Arkansas Ozarks and into the White River.
The Casino in Asbury Park, New Jersey, brings back memories of the glory days of this Jersey Shore community and "Greetings from Asbury Park." Today it remains a landmark in dire need of repair. Although its marvelous carousel was dismantled long ago, it can still be heard in the memories of those who were fortunate enough to have riden its horses.

Jones Beach is located in Wantagh, NY (Long Island).
Jones Beach State Park has a boardwalk with 6.5 miles of ocean beach, one-half mile of bay beach for stillwater bathing, and two swimming pools. There is a pitch and putt golf course and the Nikon Theatre at Jones Beach is across the street.
This gold mine was the largest and richest gold mine in California. It is also the oldest mine, but is no longer in operation.
The Vietnam Memorial is a tribute to the American Soldiers who lost their lives in the Vietnam War. This sunken black granite monument was not well recieved when it was originally proposed as many people felt that it would be a dark hole in the capitol mall and would not honor the dead.
