  2. The Casino

    The Casino in Asbury Park, New Jersey, brings back memories of the glory days of this Jersey Shore community and "Greetings from Asbury Park." Today it remains a landmark in dire need of repair. Although its marvelous carousel was dismantled long ago, it can still be heard in the memories of those who were fortunate enough to have riden its horses.

    Jones Beach is located in Wantagh, NY (Long Island).

    Jones Beach State Park is a world-class swimming destination. The park offers surf bathing along its 6.5 miles of ocean beach, one-half mile of bay beach for stillwater bathing, and two swimming pools.

    The west end of the park provides wonderful surf fishing, a boat basin and undeveloped areas that are home to a variety of migratory birds and native plants.

  5. Empire Gold Mine

    This gold mine was the largest and richest gold mine in California. It is also the oldest mine, but is no longer in operation.

    It's a State Park in Rockport, MA. The park is on the shore and contains Babson's Quarry.

  7. Tunnel View, Yosemite National Park

    Find your inner Ansel Adams from the fantastic vista point at Tunnel View in Yosemite National Park.

    Located on Highway 41 just before Wawona Tunnel as you leave Yosemite Valley, the view from the parking lot is one of the most photographed in the park.

    From here you can see El Capitan on the left, Bridalveil Falls on the right and Half Dome in the distance.

    Located in Maligne Lake, Spirit Island is one of the landmarks and most photographed places in Jasper National Park.

  9. Stanley Park

    Just a short distance from Vancouver's downtown core is its magnificent Stanley Park. The urban park, consisting of 400+ hectares (1,000 acres), it is a natural paradise used for hiking, walking, dining, swimming, and photographing spectacular views of the city and its north shores.

  10. Okefenokee Swamp Park

    Located just south of the small community of Waycross, GA, Okefenokee Swamp Park is the gateway to the northern edge of the Okefenokee Swamp. This is a private park (as opposed to the state and national parks which also access the Okefenokee), and entry fees run $12/person.
