    This is a small, boutique winery located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains of northern California. The winery is owned and operated by the Hildebrand family.

    Apart from that it is a beautiful place to visit - a bit touristy but with a couple of gorgeous views.

  5. Overlook Mountain House Ruins

    High atop Overlook Mountain in Woodstock are lest vestiges of a man's obsession with building a mountain hotel that would not fall victim to the fires that claimed many of the Hudson Valley's original "Mountain Houses" in the 1800's.

    After the fort two Overlook Mountain Houses were destroyed by fire, Morris Newgold envisioned of a fireproof Hotel built completely of concrete.

    By 1939, Newgold ran out of money to finish his dream, but the ruins of the partially built hotel, chapel, power station, and stables still stand to this day.

    A quick drive up Rock City Road takes tourists partially up Overlook Mountain to a small parking area. There tourists can hike up the steep 2 mile road that leads to the ruins.

    Although it is prohibited to enter the structure due to possible danger from the decay, many still take their chances and explore the ghostly remains.

    The Shoppes at Mauzy is an awesome little shop stop off route 11 in Mauzy, Virginia. Surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Shenandoah Valley, The Shoppes offer a wide variety art, antiques, gifts, collectables, etc.

    Located at the intersection of Hayes and Octavia streets in San Francisco, Patricia's Green is a pleasant little neighborhood park with a twist: it is home to short-term art installations of the type that stop traffic.

    At the time of this writing, Michael Christian's Burning Man sculpture, "Koilos", was in place (and will be until sometime in October 2008).
