Once a great symbol of the arizona stretch of route 66, the trading post was abandoned recently leaving the arrows to fade and fall apart in the sun. You can stop off of highway 40 and see it easily and we certainly wouldn't advise that you jump the fence to get a closer look (wink wink).

Ludlow was once at the crossroads of Route 66 but when the highway bypassed it most of the old town just dried up. The Ludlow cafe is now one of the photogenic remains and is quite easy to get to off the interstate.

A famous Route 66 trading post since 1949, Jack Rabbit has most of the usual stuff found in trading posts throughout the Southwest. The thing it has that sets it apart from the others is a large rabbit that you can pose on for pictures, as well as the "HERE IT IS" sign at the entrance.

Cadillac Ranch is located 8 miles west of Amarillo, Texas on the well-known Route 66. It's a roadside attraction created by the group, Ant Farm, in 1974.
