  1. Giralda

    The Giralda is the bell tower of the Cathedral of Seville (Spain).

    The tower, an ancient minaret from the Almohad mosque of Seville, is constructed in several distinct parts from different cultures. The Islamic body is the oldest part, built in 1184.

    The "Plaza de España" is one of Seville's most easily recognised buildings.
    In 1929 Seville hosted the Spanish-American Exhibition and numerous buildings were constructed for the exhibition in Maria Luisa Park, among them the Plaza designed by Aníbal González.

    In the centre of the Sevilla there is a huge parkland planted with a wide variety of trees from all over the world. It has been carefully laid out with lots of space to wander among the exotic plants and numerous areas where you can sit and rest (on beautiful brenches decorated with azulejos).
