Theme Casino in Las Vegas.
Casino Du Liban is a casino located in Maameltein, Jounieh in Lebanon and is 22 km north of Beirut.
With an area of 34,000 square meters, the casino has around 400 slot machines and 60 gaming tables. It has a showroom, night club, theater, banquet facility and five restaurants.
The Wynn is the newest (finished) hotel to be built in Las Vegas by Steve Wynn, the Las Vegas developer who built the Bellagio, The Mirage and Treasure Island. The Wynn was built to be a more luxurious, less "strip" oriented hotel, and indeed it lacks the theatre of say, Treasure Island from the outside.
The Casino Pier along the boardwalk in Seaside Heights, New Jersey offers thrill rides, arcade games and an antique carousel. On the pier itself are 40 thrill rides for all ages, while rooftop golf and a water park are part of the complex.
The Casino in Asbury Park, New Jersey, brings back memories of the glory days of this Jersey Shore community and "Greetings from Asbury Park." Today it remains a landmark in dire need of repair. Although its marvelous carousel was dismantled long ago, it can still be heard in the memories of those who were fortunate enough to have riden its horses.
UPDATE (6/30/08): During my last visit progress seems to be happening.
Circa 1910, the Floyd Moreland Historic Dentzel/Looff Carousel operates year-round at the Casino Pier in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. The horses and other animals on this antique attraction are all hand carved and have been lovingly preserved.
The Mediterranean Sea dips into the Lebanese countryside in the picturesque Bay of Jounieh.
Jounieh is the capital of the Kerserwan region and is home to the prestigious Casino du Liban, as well as LBC (Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation). Also, in only nine minutes, Téléphérique (a cable-car system) transports passengers from Jounieh to an altitude of 650 meters at the Our Lady of Lebanon shrine in Harissa.
