About this place:

Former backyard of Utah sculptor Thomas Battersby Child, Jr. featuring his original LDS-themed sculptures. Child spent his life creating some 12 sculptures as a tribute to his religion, including the semi-famous Joseph Smith Spinx.

The gardens were slated to be demolished in 2004 to make way for a new condominium complex, but were saved thanks donations made by Salt Lake City residents. The park is open to visitors every day, and features a community-maintained flower garden during the spring and summer months.
