Morel mushrooms are regular sights in the Island of Gar area.
'Tis not the directness of ones search, but the winding paths taken in its pursuit, does give the heart melody of song.' - Sam Stovepipe, Sage of Gar Island.
Like the wisdom of the aged sage, Stovepipe, the chimes of the ages ring long in the minds of those who venture to the Island of Gar. For of such are the makings of another Brigadoon, the Island of Gar, may only exist in the nascent minds' eye. But pray tell, do not attempt to convince the recently returned of such sorcery. For they know all too, well, the reality they have enjoyed.
However, like so many ventures taken between the saddles of a willing inner ear, venturing to the Island of Gar, is as much what we make of it, largely perceive it and hope for it to be - yet, less of what we may, perceive is actually sensed.
The effects of a journey to the Island of Gar will continue to grow for inexplicable numbers of days, weeks, months and years - far beyond our greatest dreams and expectations.
For the Island of Gar is a finite location upon the Mother Earth's splendid surface. Amazingly though, it occupies a far smaller footprint, than the one to encompass the entirety of the soul who ventures forth.
Walk through the looking glass. Partake of the celestial pull to let the mind wander; imagine; giggle and enjoy. Participate without reprieve or inhibition. Lunge forward into the mental release of being a kid again. Walk upon the rocky banks inhabited by the mythical Gars; peoples remnant of the fairy world. Do not scoff - for the loss you loose will be your own dreams. And no one can steal such away from you - but you and you alone.
Plan your trip to the Island of Gar with care. For you may venture forth with a day or two in mind. However, you will likely not return before a lifetime has passed.
For the Island of Gar welcomes all comers - but no one wants - nor willingly seeks to leave.
