The Griz Bar is the best place grab a Kokanee and do the apres-ski thing in Fernie, and possibly all of North America. The ski resort draws an international crowd and this place gets packed after a good day on the slopes. There is an annual Griz Days winter festival in Fernie, and when things get really crazy here, the long wooden table in the middle of the bar turns into a beer-drenched naked slide - you can see the photographic evidence on the wall above the bar.
